Training partner Khanye’-Lii Munro-Nonoa was elevated to the Stars 2024 fulltime squad as a replacement for Kelera Nawai-Caucau who is expecting her second child.
A multi-talented athlete Munro-Nonoa excelled at both basketball and netball during her school years. A dynamic ball-hunter, the promising young Munro-Nonoa plays wing and goal defence, the homegrown player featuring for the Comets in last year’s NNL.
Out of St Kentigern College, Munro-Nonoa has previously been a member of the NZ Secondary Schools team and is a current member of the NZ U21 squad which has a prime focus on the 2025 Netball Youth Cup. She played for Counties Manukau in last year’s Netball NZ Open Champs.
