Well-performed shooter Filda Vui is a three-time ANZ Premiership winner with the Mystics and will be back for a sixth season in 2026 after playing her first full season with the team in 2021. A versatile player, who can slip seamlessly into both shooting roles, Vui left a sizeable impression in 2025 when the two-point shot was introduced to the ANZ Premiership. She was the most successful of any shooter in the league from range, consistently converting long bombs with consummate ease. Vui played a more dominant role for the Mystics in 2025, impressing with her calm temperament, poise and confidence to shoot from anywhere. With a strong work ethic and natural ability, Vui has continued to prosper at the elite level. After a long wait, Vui returned from the fringes to grab her spot in the 2025/2026 Silver Ferns squad, finally getting to make her debut in the Taini Jamison Trophy series. Originally selected for the Silver Ferns Quad Series tour to England in 2022, Vui never made the court for her debut and had been on the outer since. With maturity, she has bounced back admirably, working hard on her court craft, conditioning, consistency and decision-making under pressure to add real strike power to her game. Vui was a member of the 2022 FAST5 Ferns bronze medal-winning team at the FAST5 Netball World Series.
