Elevated from training partner to fully-contracted Mystics player last season, in-circle defender Charlotte Manley is back for 2026 with the opportunity to further build on her growing credentials. As part of the Mystics and Marvels training environment for the past four years, the fast and agile defender has long been identified as having the potential and ability to be part of the Northern Zone’s next generation of elite players. Part of the NZ U21 squad last year, Manley made the final team selection cut to contest the 2025 World Youth Cup in Gibraltar where the New Zealand team won the silver medal. Able to cover both in-circle defensive positions, Manley is a strong contester of the ball with quick reactions and fast closing speed. Out of St Kentigern College, the homegrown talent, is also a former NZ Secondary School squad member.
