Elevated from training partner to fully-contracted Mystics player in 2025, in-circle defender Charlotte Manley has the perfect opportunity to build on her growing credentials. As part of the Mystics and Marvels training environment for the past three years, the fast and agile defender has long been identified as having the potential and ability to be part of the Northern Zone’s next generation of elite players. Part of the 14-strong NZ U21 squad which travelled to Fiji for the Rising Stars Tournament last August, Manley has plenty to play for this season in pressing her claims for inclusion in the final NZ U21 team selection to contest the World Youth Cup later this year. Able to cover both in-circle defensive positions, Manley is a strong contester of the ball with quick reactions and fast closing speed. Out of St Kentigern College, the homegrown talent, is also a former NZ Secondary School squad member.
