Promising young defender Catherine Hall has made outstanding progress in her short career and is back for a third season in 2026. After an impressive first season, Hall was a standout last year with her footwork, long reach, rebounding ability and nose for an intercept. Able to play both in-circle defensive positions, Hall’s 1.91m frame is an obvious asset at the back end of the court as she continues to build her repertoire at the top-level. Coming into a well-established team helped ease Hall into the demands of semi-professional netball after forging a fine record with the Marvels in the NNL and now leaving her own mark. Hall has embraced her opportunities in seamless fashion as she continues to extend her game and refine her credentials. Quick on her feet and with a disruptive reach, Hall has made immediate impact which have been recognised with her inclusion in the 2024-25 New Zealand A squad, 2024-25 Silver Ferns Development squad and silver medal-winning FAST5 Ferns at the 2024 Fast5 Netball World Series. Quickly elevated to the 2025-26 Silver Ferns squad, Hall is set for a long tenure.
