Talented shooter Eseta Autagavaia gets a big opportunity after coming into the 2023 Steel side as a permanent replacement for injured international George Fisher. Initially contracted to the Stars as a training partner, the police officer was in a similar position last season with a late SOS call-up. She made her ANZP debut for the Stars during 2022 before heading south to the Magic for the last eight games of the season. She has been a regular campaigner in the National Netball League environment for the past five years and represented Samoa at the 2019 Netball World Cup. The athletic shooter has a calm demeanour on court, can combine mobility with a strong holding game and the ability to turn and shoot from all points.
