Aliyah Dunn

  • DOB: 19/10/1999
  • Height: 190cm

After many years away, prolific shooter Aliyah Dunn is returning to her southern roots and will line up with the Steel in 2025. Born and raised in Invercargill, Dunn was a fringe member of the Steel in 2017, making two appearances. In 2018, she headed north to the Pulse, winning three titles during her five years in the Capital, often being the competition’s leading goal-scorer during that time before spending the last two seasons with the Tactix. Dunn endured an injury-plagued 2024, but fully fit Dunn and on the cusp of 100 national league games, will add plenty of stability at the shooting end for the Steel. The willowy Dunn has built a strong resume of the back of her accuracy and volume while adding more movement to her game. A fine rebounder, Dunn has sure hands and a strong positional game. A member of the 2017 World Youth Cup winning NZU21 team, Dunn made her Silver Ferns debut in 2018 while also being part of the triumphant FAST5 Ferns World Series winning team the same year.
