Building on her skillset and athletic ability, midcourt talent Mila Reuelu-Buchanan has become a cornerstone of the Stars team. Pushing her game to new levels since signing on eight years ago, the fleet-footed Reuelu-Buchanan was at the peak of her powers when a serious knee injury ended her 2024 season, and returning on managed loads for much of last season. The midcourt pocket rocket has continued to enhance her credentials following impressive form over the past few seasons which culminated with selection in the 2021/22 Silver Ferns Development squad. That progressed to Silver Ferns selection and her international debut in 2022. She has since been named in the 2023-24-25 Silver Ferns squads, and most recently featured in the 2025 Taini Jamison Trophy, Constellation Cup and Silver Ferns Northern Tour. A non-stop performer, Reuelu-Buchanan is a constant livewire on attack while improved defensive qualities have beefed up her all-round game. A member of the 2017 NZU21 World Youth Cup winning team, Reuelu-Buchanan offers a dynamic presence as an energetic and tenacious player with a sparkling array of skills.
