Promising midcourter Holly Mather made the most of her opportunities last season and has been snapped up by the Tactix with a first fulltime contract for 2025. Playing for the Comets in the NNL, Mather was elevated from training partner with the Stars to injury cover in the midcourt. She went on to become a central figure for the injury-hit team, gaining regular court time while delivering a quality range of skills with her driving play and deft feeding touches on attack. Playing most of her netball out of her home region of Northland, and Auckland, Mather is excited about the latest opportunity to further develop her game in a different environment and will offer a new dimension to the Tactix midcourt.
