Promising young attacker Vika Koloto has made the rapid rise from training partner to fully-fledged Tactix team member for the 2022 season. Stepping up as the replacement player for Jane Watson, who is expecting her first child, the Auckland-born Koloto played for the Comets in last year’s National Netball League. Originally moving to Christchurch as a contracted training partner for the Tactix, the talented goal attack/mid-courter is also a member of the NZ U21 squad and spent 2020 with the Stars after becoming a permanent replacement. She has built a solid foundation and impressed with her power, strength, accurate shot and fearless approach which will add a new dynamic to the Tactix attack end. Koloto is a Tania Dalton Foundation Scholarship recipient which supports talented young New Zealand sportswomen in reaching their full potential.
