Exciting teenaged shooting prospect Khiarna Williams returns for a third campaign with the Magic in 2022. Williams was a standout in the Waikato Bay of Plenty National Netball League team in 2019 and has continued her upward momentum while finding her feet at the elite level. Gaining valuable court experience along the way, Williams has been far from over-awed while showcasing her fine athletic movement, strength in the air and willingness to put the shot up. Highlighting her pedigree, Williams first made the NNL team as a 14-year-old in 2017, the same year as she made the NZSS team. In 2020, Williams became a Tania Dalton Foundation recipient, a three-year programme helping young women achieve in sport. She also played in the 2020 Cadbury Series as a member of the NZU21 Squad.
