A new city heralds a new start for Cathrine Tuivaiti who makes her way to the nation’s capital, Wellington, to kit up for the Central Pulse. Her ability to swing a game with a no-look pass, a steadying goal or a bag of 30 is what makes her a fan favourite. As the senior shooter in the team, she’ll need to bring her A-game every game if the Pulse are to feature at the business end of the season.
Mainland Tactix – Temelisi Fakahokotau
She’s tenacious, can smell an intercept and is prepared to put her body on the line for her team. When the chips are down and you need a big play, Tactix fans will be rubbing their hands together knowing they have Temelisi on their side. Whether as an impact player off the bench, or as a starter – she has the ability to change the game.

She’s the heart of the south and she’s their inspirational captain. No one typifies the spirit of the Steel more than Wendy Frew. A fearless competitor on the court, Wendy is the linchpin of the midcourt, driving the ball from defence into attack.
