Magic welcome Splice Construction as naming partner
Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Splice Construction as the naming rights sponsor of the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic.
The deal gives the Magic a major boost going into the 2019 ANZ Premiership season which opens with a Super Sunday at Claudelands Arena on 24 February.
Splice Construction, based in Hamilton, is a major player in the civil construction industry throughout the greater North Island.
The team at Splice are hugely engaged partners and sports fanatics, with other sponsorships including the Chiefs Super rugby team and Northern Districts Cricket.
Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty CEO Rohan West said the partnership was a huge step forward for the organisation and netball fans.
“We are delighted to have Splice Construction backing the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic as they look to challenge for an ANZ Premiership title next season. The partnership will be a massive lift for us,” he said.
“The Splice Construction brand and values are a fantastic fit as both share the drive to be the best in their field while maintaining a focus on nurturing the community. With so many of the Splice Construction Magic squad in tertiary education, a big part of the partnership will be promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) education and career opportunities to women and girls.”
