ANZ Premiership launched ahead of Super Sunday
The 2019 ANZ Premiership season has officially been launched at a function in Auckland on Friday.
All six coaches and captains came together to mark the milestone as New Zealand’s elite netball league returns for its third season.
The season opens this Sunday 24 February with all six teams in action at Claudelands Arena in Hamilton in the first of three Super Sunday rounds.
The Northern Mystics, Northern Stars, Splice Construction Magic, Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse, The Good Oil Tactix and Ascot Park Southern Steel will go head-to-head through 13 rounds of competition before the season culminates in a Grand Final on Sunday 2 June.
The Southern Steel come in as defending champions having won back-to-back titles, with a three-peat firmly in their sights.
All ANZ Premiership games will be broadcast LIVE on SKY Sport, with Netball Zone after every Wednesday night game and a weekly highlights show on Prime TV.

Naming partner of the league, ANZ, is not only committed to supporting the elite, but every level of the game across New Zealand with the bank’s On Your Team community netball programme.
ANZ is asking everyone who plays or supports netball to tell them what difference having ANZ on their team would make this season. It’s an opportunity for people to get that extra help to give them the edge, whether that’s new gear, inspiration from ANZ Premiership and Silver Fern players, assistance with coaching or training, or something their club really needs.
