ANZ Premiership Grand Final sold out
Fans have been quick to secure their seats to the ANZ Premiership Grand Final, with all tickets sold out within one hour of being released to the public today.
Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse will host the Grand Final at Fly Palmy Arena in Palmerston North against the winner of Wednesday night’s Elimination Final between the Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel and Silvermoon Tactix.
Grand Final tickets went on sale to the general public at midday today with the allocation exhausted by 1pm, bringing the venue to a capacity crowd of 2,300.
Netball New Zealand Head of Events & International Kate Agnew said the response shows the excitement around the culmination of what has been a successful season.
““The Pulse have seen tremendous support from their home fans this season and we know the wider Central region are keen on their netball, but it is great to see they appreciate the value of live netball,” she said.
The ANZ Premiership Elimination Final gets underway at 7:45pm on Wednesday 8 August ahead of the Grand Final at 4:15pm on Sunday 12 August, with both games broadcast live on SKY Sport 1.
Tickets are still available for the Elimination Final between the Steel and Tactix in Invercargill through TicketDirect.
