Fijian import player Afa Rusivakula will blaze a trail with the Stars in 2017.
While former Silver Ferns and Fiji international Vili Davu played for the Mystics in the early days of the Trans-Tasman Netball League, Afa will become the first official Fijian import player on a professional contract to play at this level. A member of the Fiji Pearls since 2010, Afa impressed with her performances at Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015 and earned a contract with the Celtic Dragons in the UK Super League. Able to play both goal shoot and goal attack, Afa is a patient attacker with a good sense of timing.
