Tactix announce multi-year naming rights partner
Ahead of their first home game this weekend, the Tactix have secured a naming rights partner - New Zealand jewellery retailer, Silvermoon.
The partnership will see the team known as the Silvermoon Tactix for the 2017 and 2018 ANZ Premiership seasons.
Netball Mainland CEO Brigit Hearn says they are delighted to welcome Silvermoon to the Tactix family.
“This is a significant moment for our zone, players, coaches, fans and the wider Netball community,” Hearn said.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with a well-respected, ‘home-grown’ business, who want to see the team and our sport flourish.”
Silvermoon is no stranger to talented New Zealand sportswomen, having also sponsored gold medallist Paralympic swimmer Sophie Pascoe since 2014. Now the brand has included a sponsorship for a team in its home region.
Silvermoon founder Simon Thwaites says they proud to be supporting Canterbury women and women’s sport.
“Canterbury is where Silvermoon is based, it’s our home,” said Thwaites.
“A lot of our success has been driven from this region, and Cantabrian women have been huge supporters of Silvermoon from the get-go.
“We are thrilled to have an opportunity to give back to our local community and get behind our regional team!”
The Silvermoon Tactix will play their first home game this weekend at Horncastle Arena, Christchurch, on Sunday 2 April – GET TICKETS
