Metcalfe joins Magic

Amigene Metcalfe will join the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic as an assistant coach for the 2017 ANZ Netball Elite League.

Metcalfe, Silver Fern #132, will bring a vast amount of experience, knowledge of the game at all levels and excellent organisational skills to the role.

She was the Magic's first ever captain when the Club started in 1999 and she played all her Netball in Waikato during her career.

This appointment continues the focus of the Zone to appoint/select local people where possible and shows the success of the coach education programmes over the years.
