Forsyth to lead Magic in ANZ Netball Elite League
Former Silver Fern Margaret Forsyth has been appointed coach of the Cold Power Magic for the ANZ Netball Elite League.
Forsyth, who coached the Netball WBOP Beko Netball League team, has signed a two-year contract through until the end of the 2018 season and said taking the role is a dream come true.
“I am passionate about the Cold Power Magic and look forward to leading the team into the new ANZ Netball Elite League,” Forsyth said.
“This role is regarded as one of the most sought after in New Zealand Netball so I couldn’t be more excited to be taking it on.
“The previous coaching teams have built an impressive legacy and I take the responsibility of continuing and building on that legacy very seriously.
“I will give everything to this role and am ready to take on the opportunity.”
A process to complete the makeup of the Cold Power Magic 2017 coaching team will take place over the next few weeks.
