Te Paea, who worked her way through the age group ranks more familiar with the goal shooter role, has grown in confidence on attack. The Otaki-born netballer combines her height and shooting accuracy to be a constant threat on court while showing her craft inside the circle with some clever offloads. She comes from a sporting family with her older sister Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit having played two Tests for the Silver Ferns while her father, Hud Rickit, is a former All Black lock. Te Paea made her Silver Ferns debut in 2016.
