Midcourter Samon Nathan has made the most of the lifeline offered in 2019 to retain her spot with the Tactix in 2021. An innovative operator able to play all three midcourt positions, Nathan is a quality mover, has a natural eye for the gap and is able to effectively combine attack with defence. Nathan had limited opportunities in 2020 but is a valuable and experienced option in a well-credentialled midcourt unit. Plying her trade for the Marvels in the Beko League, Nathan was called up as a permanent replacement for an injured Erikana Pedersen after four rounds of the 2019 season. Nathan first played at the elite level with the Pulse in 2016 before returning home to play for the Mystics in 2017 and 18.
