Rising young midcourter Maddy Gordon gained elevation to the Pulse for 2019 after a whirlwind 2018.
Making the bold decision to move to Wellington from Auckland in her first year out of school paid dividends for the livewire midcourter, who quickly found her niche. MVP in the Grand Final of Central’s march to the Beko Netball League title, Gordon, who slips comfortably between centre and wing defence, shone with her diligent court play and tireless work ethic. From Whangarei, Gordon spent her final two years of secondary school at Mt Albert Grammar. She was also part of the Pulse team who won last year’s Super Club title.
