The Steel have added some Caribbean flair to their mix for 2020 with the signing of Trinidad & Tobago shooter Kalifa McCollin.
A standout for the Calypso Girls, McCollin has been an impressive performer in the UK’s Superleague for the past three years. Not overly tall for a shooter, where she generally specialises as a goal attack, McCollin’s vibrant and athletic play combined with superior accuracy earned her a place in the competition’s All Stars team in 2019. McCollin played in the 2013 Netball World Youth Cup before advancing to senior levels and being a key figure for the Calypso Girls at the 2015 and 2019 World Cups. She also played for the University of Trinidad & Tobago (UTT) at the Nelson-hosted Super Club tournament in 2017.
