Munro-Nonoa promoted to Stars squad for ANZ Premiership season

Promising defender Khanye'-Lii Munro-Nonoa has been promoted to the Stars' full-time squad ahead of the 2024 ANZ Premiership season.

The move comes as defender Kelera Nawai-Caucau will miss the campaign as she awaits the birth of her second child.

Munro-Nonoa can play wing defence and goal defence and has been immersed in the Stars environment throughout the pre-season after being originally named as a training partner alongside Summer Temu.

Munro-Nonoa represented the Stars’ development team the Comets in the National Netball League last year and was elevated to the Stars bench as cover during some games throughout the ANZ Premiership season.

Exciting mid-courter Holly Mather will fill the Stars' vacant training partner spot, having previously spent time with the MG Mystics and will join sister Lisa in the environment.
