WBOP Magic Unveil Special Match Dress
In the first deal of its kind in the ANZ Premiership, the WBOP Magic have today revealed their special, one off Hobbiton themed, one-off match dress created in partnership with partners HobbitonTM Movie Set .
The dress will be worn by the WBOP Magic in their ANZ Premiership match against SKYCITY Mystics on Wednesday 27 June at Claudelands Arena, Hamilton, as part of Hobbiton Movie Set’s match day sponsorship and promotional partnership with the WBOP Magic team.
WBOP Magic captain Casey Kopua said the team are enjoying the partnership with Hobbiton Movie Set and were looking forward to bringing the relationship to life on court.
“We’re really excited to pull on the Hobbiton Movie Set dress for our match against the Mystics. We’re proud to represent a region that includes such an iconic tourist attraction, and we love having them on board as one of our family of partners” said Kopua.
“Our rivalry with the Mystics is always strong and we’ve had some great matches against them. Now with a little something more on the line I’m sure it’s going to provide some great entertainment”
The dress features the Shire map from the Hobbiton movie built in to the design of the dress and was produced by ANZ Premiership apparel supplier BLK.
In addition to this special game dress, Hobbiton Movie Set’s match day sponsorship will see a wide range of pre-game, in-game and post-game activities, including dressing of the Arena in a Middle-earth theme and the chance to win passes to Hobbiton Movie Set for supporters.
