ANZ Premiership welcomes back full capacity crowds

ANZ Premiership welcomes back full capacity crowds

New Zealand netball fans will again be able to catch all the ANZ Premiership action in person following the announcement of the relaxing of Covid-19 restrictions.

With the Government confirming that the country is moving to the orange traffic light setting, gathering limits for indoor events have been removed allowing the Premiership teams to open their doors for Round 6 games starting in Christchurch on Saturday.

New Zealand capped crowds at indoor events at 200 people but will lift those rules in time for the Easter-weekend round and the prospect of full capacity crowds for the first time this season.

The Trident Homes Tactix host the Robinhood Stars at Christchurch Arena on Easter Saturday while the Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel are at home to the MG Mystics at ILT Stadium Southland in Invercargill on Sunday.

The round finishes with the Splice Construction Magic hosting Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse at Energy Events Centre in Porirua.
